Direct Answer / Birthday Charter Summary:
Hosting a birthday party on a private yacht in Mumbai provides complete exclusivity, open sea breezes, and panoramic skyline views departing from Gateway of India. With vessel capacities ranging from 8 to 40 guests and packages starting from ₹4,999, celebrations include high-end marine sound systems, themed balloon decor, customized birthday cakes, and licensed crew service.
Birthdays in Mumbai are legendary, but crowded lounges in Bandra or noisy rooftop clubs in Lower Parel often leave you shouting over blaring music, waiting in taxi lines, and sharing your special night with hundreds of strangers. If you want to celebrate your birthday with true celebrity flair, nothing rivals taking your closest circle onto the open waters of the Arabian Sea.
For international expatriates living in Mumbai, visiting global travelers, or locals seeking an extraordinary experience, a private birthday yacht charter with Bombay Yacht Sailing delivers privacy, glamour, and unmatched photo opportunities.

In accordance with local maritime and port regulations at Gateway of India, we provide fruit champagne and premium non-alcoholic mocktail bars onboard. Please discuss any specific customized catering requests with our event manager during booking.
Is there enough space to dance on the yacht?
Yes! Larger vessels like the Vari, Tara, and Allegra feature open teak deck spaces specifically configured for socializing, dancing, and cake-cutting.
What is the best departure time for a birthday party?
The 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM sunset slot is by far the most popular for photographs and golden hour toasts, followed closely by the 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM twilight slot for an illuminated skyline party.
